Ok, Im gonna be honest here, I never watched this show in my life and my friends are trying to get me into this, I don't know who these people are, why the ginger in the back is spitting a flaming scroll from his mouth, what canter lot is, and why the fuck do they have horns. SOME ONE EXPLAIN BEFORE I FIND A PONY AND TACK A SAWED OFF SHOTGUN TO ITS HEAD. Ok, im not gonna do any of that but still can someone explain? Ill give you a cupcake if you do.
Those are human versions of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic characters. The woman with wings is Princess Celestia, the pink haired girl in the back is Princess Candace, The purple haired girl is Princess Twilight (main character), and the blue haired male is Shining Armor (Candace's husband and Twilight's brother). The ginger in the back is Twilight's pet dragon, Spike, who receives and sends scrolls to and from Celestia through his mouth. Canterlot is the main city of Equestria, where the ponies live. Hope that helped.
not really, I still don't know what it's about. A lot of my friends watch this show and every time they talk about it, I am so lost. I know what the show is called and I've heard about some characters called rainbow-dash and Derpy, but that's about it. I am not a brony in any way, shape or form (Not that there is anything wrong with being a brony, everyone is entitled to like what they like), but I just don't see what the big deal is about a cartoon staring baby horse girl toys.
You won't understand what the "big deal" is until you watch it. I thought the exact same thing. If you want to understand it better, you could watch the Brony documentary on Netflix. It sounds silly, but it's actually a nice and informational movie. Basically, it's a feel-good show. It makes people feel better and forget about reality for a bit. There are actually a ton of adult references within the show directly addressed to older viewers, and there is a plot. I'm not saying everyone should like it, but please don't knock it 'til you try it!
THANK YOU! Finally someone who has the decency to tell me the bases of the show. I mean, why cant things be that simple, its a feel good show, I get it. but people don't tell me why. they just say "you wont understand if you dont watch it" but I don't wanna watch the show, not that I think its gay or anything, I just don't want to watch because im not into the whole "too happy for its own good" type of shows.
actually MLPs charm comes from it's characters It's plot only comes in in season openings and finales it a kind of slice of life deal, I've watched every single episode but I still don't like it enough to be a brony.
